Laura currently serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona.  She is working toward earning her Masters Degree in Percussion Performance.  Laura is from Wheeling, WV and obtained her undergraduate degree in music education from West Virginia University.  While at WVU, Laura instructed the JMHS and SSHS drum lines, as well as a Fine Arts Conservatory Camp in Hedgesville, WV.

Laura has participated in Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, and the WVU Orchestra and served as timpanist for the Wheeling Youth Symphony. She has also participated in world music ensembles such as Steel Band and African Music and Dance.  During the summer of 2014, she traveled abroad to Ghana, Africa where she furthered her cultural studies.  Laura is excited to begin her studies at the Fred Fox School of Music and looks forward to all that Tucson and the University has to offer.
